·       With organic stained glass (1.53 Trivex, 1.60, 1.67 and 1.74 glasses), it may happen that, with the exception of the index 1.50 and 1.56, no 100% desired results are achieved. The information about this must be communicated to the customer.

·       With glasses with the index 1.67 and 1.74, it is much more difficult to achieve the desired color. (As diopter increases, it becomes more difficult to color the glass. Please consult before ordering)

·       Painting cannot be done on 1.59 polycarbonate raw material.

·       Mineral glasses cannot be dyed.

·       For orders without actual samples, colors and shades may not fully meet expectations. In addition, the appearance of the mounted degraded glasses may vary depending on the frame size and mounting height. It is assumed that these problems are known to the clients.

·       Due to the action of UV rays, the colors of the colored glasses change over time and can decolorize.

·       No color change can be made for AR-coated or mirror-coated glasses.

·       There is the possibility of a color change in glasses without AR coating. However, there is always a risk of deterioration. In this case, the responsibility lies with the customer. In the case of wiping processes with AR or mirror coating, the risk of glass damage lies with the customer.

·       Tinted glasses should be ordered in pairs.

·       Since we do not know what the height of the optical centers and the shape of the glass in the assembly will be, the dark transitions of the colored glasses may differ from the pattern.

·       If the coloring is done in different indexes on the right and left glasses, the colors may not be exactly the same. Mirror coating can be applied to polarized lenses.

·       Polarized lenses are only smoke-colored – brown – green. Since there is no subsequent coloring, there can be no other color.

·       If the glass is dyed with an anti-reflective process, the color can be rotated by 5-10%.

·       59 Polycarbonate – Mirror coating cannot be carried out on indices 1.67 and 1.74.

·       When ordering mirror-coated glass, only the mirror color should not be specified. It should also be indicated what the interior color of the glass will be.

·       Only mirror paints are used for mirror coatings. Apart from these colors, the mirror coating (e.B. the mirror coating color of glass in sunglasses) can not be made according to the pattern color. When such a request is made, the closest of the colors can be selected from the catalog.

·       Mirror coating paints are produced on certain days of the week. The delivery time can take up to 7-8 days depending on the order.

·       When ordering painted and mirror-coated glass, the color to be painted on the glass must be clearly indicated. The color code or mirror coating code of the glass must be provided when ordering.

The oval cut is a technique designed to obtain thinner convex organic lenses. It can be used in all single-focal, bifocal and progressive organic lenses

·       In order for the oval cut to be advantageous, the spherical part of the organic cylindrical or mixed glass should be convex and the axis should run in the direction of the axes shown in green above.

·       In order to achieve maximum fineness with oval glasses, the cylinder value and the vertical dimensions of the glass are important in addition to the axis direction. The higher the value of the cylinder, the greater the difference between the vertical and horizontal dimensions of the oval glass. For a glass with a cylinder value of 2,00D, the difference between horizontal and vertical dimensions should be at least 10 mm. The value of the cylinder is 3.00D or more, with more aesthetic oval glasses, the difference between horizontal and vertical dimensions should be increased.

·       We can show the effect of reducing the vertical size of oval glass only on the thickness of the glass with the following examples of glass with 1.5 index + 4.00 + 4.00 x 180 diopters:

·       For orders created by drawing a frame template, our technicians calculate the dimensions of the oval glass you need to obtain the thinnest convex cylindrical or mixed organic glass, and production is carried out accordingly.

·       If you specify that the frame is normal, nylon thread or faceted, the finest organic glasses suitable for your frame will be made.

·       If you have made your order by drawing a frame template, you do not need to specify the oval cut dimensions separately.

Oval cut is not beneficial for all spherical products, all concave products, and convex cylindrical and mixed glasses, except for the colored area above.
